Pafos Underground

Pafos Underground is an artist-run space working with experimental contemporary art in Paphos, Cyprus. Founded in 2024 by artist and curator Ksenia Kudasova, the gallery operates as a self-organised cultural infrastructure supporting exhibitions, artistic experiments, collaborations and peer-to-peer exchange.

Pafos Underground operates from a private residential space. Its exact location is intentionally kept undisclosed and shared directly with visitors upon request. This semi-private format is part of the gallery’s concept, preserving its domestic character and creating a direct form of encounter between artists, artworks and visitors through personal contact and invitation.

The gallery works with emerging and independent artistic practices and develops formats that can exist outside conventional institutional frameworks. It also connects artists working in Cyprus with practitioners and cultural networks beyond the island.
