The Tree in Me

Diatopos Art Centre presents The Tree in Me, a solo exhibition by Elena Kouma, curated by Daphne Nikita opening in November 2026. Through painting and embroidery, Kouma explores the intimate relationship between the human body, memory, and the natural world. The tree becomes both a symbol and a living presence — a reflection of roots, growth, resilience, and our deep connection with the environment. Combining colour, texture, and the tactile language of thread, the works invite viewers into a poetic space where inner landscapes and natural forms intertwine.
