Between Stone and Leaf

A walk down the alley, and before long, a secret oasis emerges – vibrant and bursting with life, where all beings find refuge and nourishment. Simone uses the energetic atmosphere of the Alley restaurant as a relatable analogy for the pockets of urban wilderness she is currently exploring in her artistic practice.
Working with stone lithography and handmade paper, the artist presents images inspired by quiet, fleeting moments observed in abandoned city spaces reclaimed by nature. Through these works, visitors to the Art Walk are invited to catch glimpses of the often-overlooked beauty and untamed character hidden within the urban landscape.
