Artist in Residence Show: Tamara Al-Samerraei, «Love Story»

“The monster is a friend and a foe, a subject of subjugation where its predatory nature is both forgotten and forgiven.”

Love Story is composed of different narratives all formed through Tamara Al-Samerraei’s psychic work of reverie: the compulsive presence of a recurring monster, a nondescript confrontation, a dream always on the precipice of getting interrupted, and a triumphant cuddle with an animal.
